Loving Like God's Children

Every family passes on its culture. As children of God, he passes on his love to us so we can give it to others. Are we children of God? Love for others is the proof.

Children of God: Loved, Freed, Destined

Being called children of God has amazing implications. In 1 John 3 we find out that as children of God we are loved more than we can imagine, freed from the enslavement of sin, and destined for glory alongside Christ. 

Threat and Resistance

In our pursuit of fullness of life, we will face threats.  God resources us and rewards us in our perseverance.

Loving God and Neighbor

We continued our study in 1 John by examining how we are to love God and neighbor while resisting the threat of the world's temptation. 

The Heart of the Father and Son

This Sunday we started our study in 1 John. We see how God is relentless in his pursuit of us so we can have fullness of life.

The Glory of the Gospel

This Sunday, we took a day to come back to the most irriducable minimum that brings us together: the glory of the mercy and grace of the gospel of Jesus.

We usually show up to community wanting to take. The earliest Christians showed up to community ready to give. Followers of Jesus participate in community for blessing and to be a blessing.
